What
you are is God's gift to you. What you become is your gift to God.
DREAM COME TRUE
I’m
thrilled that my dream to become a published author came a week earlier than expected.
Yesterday, the Kindle version of my book “Simplify Life… and Make it Count” was
released thru Amazon.com. By Friday next week, the paperback version will also
be released thru Amazon.
It
has been my lifelong dream to be able to have my name printed on a book, and saying
that I’m so happy is an understatement. I want to thank my wife, Denielle, not
only for editing and proofreading my book, but also for giving me the inspiration to follow my dream and making this journey a lot easier and worthwhile. She’s
the best.
I
also thank those people who have encouraged me in doing this, most notably were
my mother, Teresita, and my mother-in-law, Jeanne. With
their words, they have motivated me to compose my own words.
I
give back all glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ! Thank You, Lord, for
this wonderful, wonderful Christmas gift. I should’ve been the one giving You
presents. I hope I can become what You really want me to be.
Lastly,
special thanks to all you dear readers. This first book is for all of you who
stood by even when everything seemed lost.
Really,
this is becoming the best Christmas ever!

Insights
Today
is the day to give your dreams a new beginning.
Dreams
mean work.
We are
responsible for the effort, not the outcome.
Poem of the Week
DREAMS
by Emon
Dreams mean work.
I heard from Paulo Coelho.
No one else can do your
loving for you,
like the alphabet,
shapes
and colors,
you perfect it at your own pace,
learning as you go.
Love requires on the job training.
And no teacher lives who can be
effective to you, unless you
stay open for His signals
and is ready, willing
to
learn.
Again for dreams, none comes true
without a nightmare or a shadow.
Dream hard, dream big.
The larger your dream the quicker
the
little nightmare slips back
to where it belongs, some shadow
in an unimportant corner.
Always remember though that
whatever happens I will also
always
love you,
like a dream sought since childhood.
We will have gone beyond impossibilities
with
no restraining rein
and we will both come back again
to our own safe, same place I know.
And I will love you better then and more…
I will have learned from dreaming
how to love you more.
